Old Dubbo Gaol is one of Dubbo’s premier tourist attractions. The gaol itself not only represents a piece of colonial New South Wales, but also holds many original artefacts that are both rare and give an in sight into the harshness of life and penal practices spacing over 100 years from 1871.
Come face to face with the eight executed men. Gain insight into an 1800’s penal institution during a self guided day tour. Listen to a ghost from the past tell the history of the goal.
There are now theatrical performances that operates 10:00am, 11:00am, 2:30pm and 3:30pm daily. The theatrical displays are a fun look at life in the Gaol. Also, don’t forget to collect the children’s Super Sleuth Activity.
